The lecture explains that Uddhava asks Krishna about meditation and liberation for the benefit of ordinary spiritual seekers. Liberation from suffering is important, but loving devotional service to Krishna is the highest goal. Material desires create bondage, while hearing, chanting, remembering, and serving Krishna purify the heart. A devotee should trust Krishna’s arrangements, accept His will, and continue serving Him in every situation.
