The International Society for Krishna Consciousness was established in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. His simple yet profound invitation—to understand the Bhagavad Gita, chant Krishna’s holy names and live a life of loving service—has touched people across cultures and generations.
Today, the same spirit is expressed through temples and congregations, festivals and public kirtans, spiritual education, book distribution, prasadam relief and communities centered on bhakti.
