  • Member account details, profile photograph, email-verification status, and Google sign-in identity where you choose social login. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Donation, temple brick, course registration, receipt, certificate, payment status, and transaction reference information.
  • PAN details when requested for an 80G receipt or required for higher-value donations and applicable record-keeping.
  • English and Devanagari donor names submitted for display on a selected public temple brick wall.
  • Contact enquiries, Bhakti Blog likes and comments, and prayers submitted through a member account. Account prayers are treated as private account content.
  • Technical and security information including IP address, browser or device details, user agent, login activity, timestamps, requested pages, and administrative or account actions.

We aim to collect only information reasonably required to provide the requested service, maintain records, communicate with you, and protect the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Process donations, issue receipts and brick certificates, and maintain donation and accounting records.
  • Register participants for courses, programs, festivals, workshops, or other temple activities.
  • Create and secure member accounts, provide account history, and support password or email verification.
  • Respond to enquiries and send confirmations, reminders, service announcements, or other requested communications.
  • Display donor names on temple brick walls when a donor selects that public recognition feature.
  • Moderate Bhakti Blog comments and maintain community safety.
  • Detect fraud, investigate misuse, enforce access controls, troubleshoot errors, and improve website reliability and usability.
  • Meet legal, tax, audit, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

3. Payment Information

Online payments are processed through third-party payment gateway and banking services, including ICICI Bank services where configured. This website does not store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password, or similar payment credentials.

We may retain limited transaction information such as the donation or registration amount, reference number, gateway transaction identifier, payment method, status, and date. This information is used for confirmation, receipts, reconciliation, accounting, support, fraud prevention, and statutory records.

4. Public Information and Your Choices

When you offer an individual temple brick, the confirmed English and Devanagari names may be displayed publicly on the selected brick wall. The certificate and wall link are designed so that you can share this recognition with others.

Approved Bhakti Blog comments may also become visible to visitors. Please do not submit confidential or sensitive information in a public name or comment field. Private member prayers are not intended for public display.

5. Communication

When you donate, register, create an account, or contact the temple, we may communicate with you by email, telephone, WhatsApp, or SMS for receipts, certificates, registration details, reminders, support, security notices, and important temple or service updates. You may ask us to stop non-essential communications.

6. Cookies, Sessions, and Activity Tracking

The website uses cookies and similar session technologies for login, security, form protection, preferences, and reliable website operation. We may also maintain request and activity logs for visitors, registered members, and administrators, including IP address, account identifiers where available, route or action details, and timestamps.

You may disable cookies through your browser, but login, donation forms, language preferences, and other functions may not work correctly without them.

7. Sharing of Information

We may share only the information necessary with trusted service providers that help operate the website and temple services, such as:

  • Payment gateways, banks, and transaction-processing providers.
  • Email, hosting, storage, security, analytics, and technical-support providers.
  • Google or other identity providers when you choose social login.
  • Authorized temple personnel who require the information for donations, registrations, support, moderation, accounting, or administration.

Temple programs and courses may be open to children and families. Where a participant is not legally able to provide consent, registration and payment should be completed by or with the consent of a parent or guardian.
